The airsoft company ASG began in 1998 when the partnership of Johnny Pedersen and Henrik Grobelnik began to distribute airsoft equipment in Europe and soon began to acquire many of the licenses that make ASG the household name it is today. In the early 2000s, Johnny and Henrik worked closely with many great names in 'real steel' shooting to acquire early licenses with notable firms such as Armalite and Cobray. Over the years, over thirty exclusive licensing deals were struck with companies such as BSA, CZ, B&T, and Accuracy International.
