The B5 Systems Type 22 P-Grip is a modern ergonomic upgrade for AR-15 rifles, engineered to replace the traditional A2 grip with improved comfort, control, and wrist alignment. At the core of the Type 22 is its 13° vertical grip angle, which brings the shooter’s wrist into a more natural alignment with the trigger. This reduces wrist strain, minimizes fatigue during extended use, and promotes cleaner, more consistent trigger engagement—especially beneficial during rapid strings of fire or long training sessions.

The grip features an aggressive, non-slip texture that provides confident control in wet, muddy, or gloved conditions without being abrasive during prolonged handling. Unlike traditional grips, the backstrap-free design allows the shooter’s hand to ride higher on the grip, improving leverage, recoil control, and overall weapon handling.

Constructed from Mil-Spec polymer, the Type 22 is both lightweight and durable, weighing approximately 1.9 oz, making it an excellent choice for lightweight builds without sacrificing strength.
