ICS was one of the first companies to start production of split gearbox designs, which enable airsoft players to quickly make internal adjustment to their AEGs performance. They also were one of the first to include a spring release feature, allowing airsoft players to quickly release their gearbox spring tension preventing the gearbox from locking up.
