ICS was one of the first companies to start production of split gearbox designs, which enable airsoft players to quickly make internal adjustment to their AEGs performance. They also were one of the first to include a spring release feature, allowing airsoft players to quickly release their gearbox spring tension preventing the gearbox from locking up. ICS continues to produce high quality and high performance airsoft guns for a more reasonable price than many high end airsoft companies. ICS has also developed a plastic body series of airsoft guns, perfect for beginner to intermediate players on a budget.

Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries
