The mechanical functions of the MK58 make this rifle feel more realistic, with its fully functional charging handle and bolt release. Unlike M4-style AEGs and similar rifles, the charging handle, bolt release and magazine release button are located in close proximity to the trigger for improved functionality. The charging handle locks easily to the rear, providing easy access to adjust your hop-up. Pressing the bolt catch lever instantly shoots the charging handle and bolt cover door home. The placement of the magazine release is perfect for speed reloads, located directly in front of the trigger well within easy reach of your trigger finger. The JG MK58 also features an 8.5-inch top rail system that is perfect for mounting a variety of red dot sights, magnified scopes, or other airsoft optics.

Battery Charger Recommendation: Although this fully automatic airsoft rifle comes with a standard wall charger to charge the battery, Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.
