The AK47 has been a revered weapon system since its creation back in 1947. Famed for its outstanding durability, the AK is the preferred weapon of many military and counter-terrorism units around the world. The Lancer Tactical LT-16A AK47 AEG is in good keeping with the traditions of its real steel counterpart and is supremely durable, highly accurate, and very powerful with a muzzle velocity around 400-415 FPS (w/ 0.20g BBs).

Right out of the box, there are some features that set this AK47 airsoft rifle apart from traditional AK47s. The durable polymer handguard has been constructed with long upper and lower Picatinny rail sections. These RIS sections are perfect for mounting red dot sights, vertical foregrips, or a variety of other options that enhance the weapon and improve your gameplay. To further augment the modular capabilities of this weapon, two short Picatinny RIS rails have been mounted to the sides of the handgurad as well. These rails are ideal for adding red laser sights or PEQ boxes to the LT-16A AK47 AEG, placing them in a position where they will not interfere with target acquisition or hand placement. An ergonomically shaped polymer motor grip is designed to fill the hand comfortably and decrease shooter fatigue during extended gameplay. It also helps to seat the fixed rifle stock firmly into the pocket of the shoulder, and provide a stable and reliable shooting platform from any shooting position. A swiveling sling loop on either side of the receiver can be used to attach a tactical sling for retaining positive weapon control, even in the most intense situations. Included in the package is a 500 round hi-cap waffle mag, designed to increase grip and make loading much easier.

Ammo type: Seamless 0.20g or heavier (0.23g, 0.25g, 0.26g, 0.28g, etc) BBs. Battery Charger Recommendation: Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.
