KeyMod handguards are known for their modular flexibility. NcStar has now taken that one step further with the introduction of the KeyMod 1-Slot Rail Covers. These rail covers add a textured, rubberized gripping surface that works seamlessly with your KeyMod RIS accessories without adding excessive weight or size to the handguards. One of our favorite features is the option to break down and reassemble the panels with other KeyMod 1-Slot Rail Covers of various colors. This allows you to achieve a highly customized camo pattern on your KeyMod handguard. To do this, remove the hinge pin to separate the two halves of the rail cover, combine the colors of your choice, then slide the hinge pin back into place. To install the rail covers lift the rear half and slide the front shoe into the KeyMod slot, then press down on the back half until it locks securely into place.
