Serious Cold Weather Performance

Designed as the primary cold-weather component of the MSS, this sleeping bag is rated for temperatures from +30°F down to -10°F on its own. It features a durable, water-resistant ripstop nylon shell and is filled with lofty synthetic insulation that is engineered to retain warmth even when damp—a critical feature for field use.

 

Part of a Legendary System

While an excellent standalone bag, its true potential is unlocked as part of the complete Modular Sleep System. It is designed to be inserted into the lighter-weight green Patrol Bag and then placed inside the GORE-TEX bivy cover, creating a layered system rated for extreme arctic temperatures.
