This basic handguard was in use long before the Picatinny rail systemwas conceived, so this particular handguard does not include a rail interface system (RIS). However, this handguard is substantially lighter than many RIS enabled handguards, so if weight reduction is on the top of your priority list, this choice of handguardwill serve you very well.
